Excellent value for a startup

As a startup, finding the right domain was critical. I inquired about a startup domain package and got a great deal on a brandable domain. The team was helpful in discussing payment plan options. It felt like a solid investment for our new brand.

Reliable as always for domains

This is my third domain acquisition through TBF. I've always found their inventory to be top-notch, with really good options. This time, I got a three-letter domain. The process was consistent with my previous buys – professional and secure. They handle the escrow well, which gives peace of mind. It's why I keep coming back when I need a high-value domain.

Smooth domain acquisition experience

I contacted Telepathy for a corporate domain acquisition. The initial consultation call was informative, and their team walked me through the process of securing a premium .com. We chose a legacy domain asset from their inventory. The negotiation for the price was handled professionally, and they facilitated the escrow, which made me feel secure about the transaction. The transfer process took about 7 business days as they mentioned, including all the legal checks. Their digital branding strategy advice was also quite helpful. It was a high-value purchase, but the quality of the domain and the service justified it completely. They really know their stuff when it comes to high-end web real estate.

Got the domain I wanted

Needed a good dictionary word domain for a new project. Looked around a bit and TBF had the best one. Shot them an email, they got back to me, and we worked out the details. The transfer took a few days to fully clear, but it wasn't a big deal. Pretty happy with it all.

Is there a first-time buyer discount or anything like that? Or maybe like seasonal sales around Q1?

J June 1 month ago
Nah, not really coupons or first-time buyer stuff. Their pricing is more about individual negotiation for high-value assets.

Don't think they do seasonal sales in the traditional sense. Prices are more about the domain's value than any holiday discount. You can always ask though, doesn't hurt!

How do they compare to places like BuyDomains or GoDaddy auctions? Is it a totally different league?

E Emma L. 1 month ago
Totally different. TBF is for seriously premium, high-value domains. GoDaddy is for pretty much anything, and BuyDomains is more mid-tier I'd say. TBF is top shelf.

Yeah, TBF is a step above. They focus on category-defining names, not just whatever is expiring. It's more of a curated collection and brokerage service for big players.

Do they only sell the domains listed on their site, or can they help you get one that's already owned by someone else?

J Julia 1 month ago
They can definitely help you acquire one that's not listed. They call it 'stealth acquisition' or something like that. They're brokers, so that's their jam.

Yep, they do that. I heard they have services for getting domains that aren't on their inventory. Pretty cool if you have a specific one in mind.

Hey, thinking about grabbing a domain from here, but man, those prices are up there. Any wiggle room on the price, or are they pretty firm?

N Noor 1 month ago
Yeah, they're pretty firm. It's not like a regular store with coupons. You can try to negotiate, especially on higher value stuff, but don't expect a huge drop.

I inquired about a short .com last year. They were open to discussion, but it was more about payment terms than a big discount. Worth a shot though!

How long does it usually take to actually get the domain transferred over once you buy it? I need it pretty quick for a project.

O Omar 3 weeks ago
From my experience, once all the paperwork is done and payment clears, it's usually a few business days. Depends on the registrar too though.

They mention escrow and all, so it's not instant. Afaik, it can take anywhere from a few days to a week or two depending on how fast everyone responds and the current registrar policies.

Anyone know if they do payment plans for the really expensive domains? Like, can I pay it off over a few months?

T Troy Q. 1 month ago
Yup, they do! I remember seeing that as an option when I was browsing. Especially for the premium ones, it makes sense.

They totally offer payment plans. I think it's one of their 'financing' options for big ticket domains. Good for startups that don't have all the cash up front.

Are these guys legit? Never heard of them before, and some of the domains look too good to be true.

L Lisa 1 month ago
Yeah, they're legit. They deal in really high-end domains, not like your average GoDaddy stuff.

Totally legit. They're a broker for premium domains. Think of them like a real estate agent for prime internet addresses. Not a scam if that's what you're worried about.
